The big challenge for Boot Camp was to use the program Foldit to model how the 3D structure of SARS-CoV-2 Nsp5 changed (evolved) and evaluate the energetic consequences of the amino acid changes during the pandemic (through June 2020).

Students installed Foldit on their computers, attended the lectures/demonstrations, and then worked through the Foldit Exercise.
